Welcome to Seeds for Growing Literacy!
School begins in two short weeks. I am excited to begin in a new school, and with new colleagues. As I organize a literacy space for K-2 grade I have spent a lot of time reflecting on arrangement of books, the access to the newly sharpened colored pencils and the assembly of new Reader's Notebooks so the space is inviting and inspiring for kids to continue on their journey of becoming proficient readers.
It is as though I am digging in the dirt preparing a garden for seeds.
